✦ The Career Lore ✦
EXPERIENCE
Psychology, recruiting, marketing, brand strategy, creative direction, content, web design, leadership, project management...
At times referred to as: the path of a reformed people-pleaser who had little regard for the bandwidth of a job description.
Tricky to make tidy in an Applicant Tracking System, one could say. One could also say that spending your formative years in recruiting gives your inner critic access to hiring manager vocabulary and that could cause you to get a little lost in the sauce when it comes to navigating said systems for yourself.
So, somewhere between a career inventory and an existential crisis, the idea of this website sprouted.
It's become a way to tell my story in a way that actually makes sense to me and explain my professional history without turning it into a résumé-shaped hostage situation. The added word count also doesn't hurt.

PRESENT DAY
Brand Strategist/Creative Partner
Freelance/Independent
open to what’s next
Today you’ll find me working as a brand strategist and creative partner, pulling from everything that came before to help brands sharpen their positioning, shape their story, and build experiences people want to engage with. The connective tissue through it all is figuring out what makes something compelling, then making sure the rest of the experience knows it, too.
2025-
Marketing Project Manager
Performance Fabrication
Automotive/Fabrication
Helping a 40+ year-old custom fabrication shop make its expertise easier to understand, find, and care about, while building the marketing infrastructure to keep it moving. A necessary intervention for a business that had been (& I say this with love) running on vibes since approximately 2012. Brand repositioning, website rebuilds, content, search, and internal processes included.

Director of Creative Marketing & Lead Gen
Math Plus Academy
Education/STEM
Lead marketing for a STEM education company spanning math enrichment, tutoring, chess, robotics, 3D printing, and camps. From campaigns and content to events and community outreach, the work has meant figuring out how to make something inherently educational feel genuinely exciting.
2019-2024
Marketing Coordinator, Specialist, & Manager
Premier Talent Partners
Staffing Marketing
Moved into marketing and spent the next several years building campaigns, content, communications, and the systems behind them. Somewhere along the way, I realized the same instincts I’d developed in recruiting were proving surprisingly useful for understanding audiences, positioning ideas, and figuring out what makes people pay attention.
2018-2019
Recruiter
Premier Talent Partners
Staffing/Professsional Services
My first “grown-up job” was in recruiting, and what nobody tells you is that you’re basically in sales. You’re selling people on jobs, companies on candidates, and both sides on why this particular opportunity is worth pursuing. It taught me to read between the lines, ask better questions, and understand the difference between what people say they want and what will actually make them say yes.
✦ Where I'm Useful ✦
Day-to-Day Operations
My professional skill set is essentially a collection of things I learned because someone, at some point, needed them done. Strategy, writing, project management, marketing, websites, systems, research, occasional crisis management. I tend to enjoy figuring out where the snag is, what’s actually needed, and what we can do about it.
CONTENT, CAMPAIGNS + CREATIVE
Turning business goals and creative ideas into campaigns with a clear message, a coordinated plan, and a job to do.
CRISIS + COMMUNICATIONS
Rapid-response messaging, sensitive communications, and keeping people informed when things go haywire.
Lifecycle + CRM
Designing the emails, automations, and little digital nudges that keep the connection alive.
POSITIONING
Finding the story underneath the strategy, then making sure the rest of the brand has memorized its lines.
PROJECT LEADERSHIP
Knowing what needs to happen next, who needs to do it, and where the wheels are most likely to come off.
RESEARCH, ANALYSIS, & HUMAN BEHAVIOR
Asking “why,” finding the insight, deciphering the data, making it digestible, and using it to make better decisions.
WEB DESIGN & OPTIMIZATION
Making websites easier to navigate, easier to understand, and considerably harder to abandon.

Work SPACES
For someone who spent years getting very good at telling other people’s career stories, I was surprisingly bad at telling my own. Like…lead stare bad. And since we’re friends now, I feel safe admitting to you that it wasn’t until I stopped putting off creating the website we find ourselves today that I got a finally grip.
These are the projects, initiatives, and campaigns that broke through the fog of KPI’s, ROAS, conversion rates, and whatever other acronym is hot right now.
